Privacy and data use
The default public Atlas does not collect analytics. Anonymous analytics activate only when the operator configures an approved Plausible site and a visitor selects the Atlas opt-in control.
Public research data
The Atlas omits site and company names, rounds coordinates, and does not publish the licensed inventory. Public layers provide modeled screening results, not measured facility impacts.
Usage measurement after activation
Activated measurement records aggregate page visits and the Atlas events listed in the public metric dictionary. Event properties are restricted to Atlas version, active mode, and a coarse interaction scope. The Atlas does not send exact coordinates, URL query parameters, free-text evidence, site identifiers, company names, or account identifiers as event properties.
Evidence packages
The Atlas evidence form creates a JSON package on the visitor's device. It does not submit that package. A future contribution channel will state its own access, review, retention, and rights conditions before accepting records.
Contact and changes
This notice will be updated before analytics are activated or a contribution endpoint is opened. The public metric dictionary documents the active event schema.
